Michelle Hutchison, Head of Nursing

I started as a newly qualified nurse of just 8 months and truly believe that taking the post as staff nurse at Birtley House was the best decision I ever made, not only with career development, but being fortunate to work in an environment that is truly unique. I have undertaken a wide variety of training courses, all with the help of a supportive team and with backing from the Board.  Four years on, I am lucky to have been promoted first to Clinical Lead Nurse & now to Head of Nursing.
