A memorable weekend celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Nursing Home – a traditional tea party for residents and guests also celebrating 80th birthdays from the community; the gardens were opened for the National Gardens Scheme on two days and a party for relatives of past residents, friends in the community and former staff brought the total number of people entertained to over 650 in three days – that’s approximately 1,100 items for the tea party, 1,600 canapes for the drinks reception and 400 slices of assorted cakes for the NGS afternoons, all of which were produced by Sarah South and her wonderful team at Pesto catering.
