Thousands of visitors flocked to this year's Surrey Hills Wood Fair held in the grounds at Birtley over the weekend of 1/2nd October. Despite the rain on Saturday, families were entertained with horse & wagon rides, archery, tree climibing, storytelling and live bands and the sun shone all day on Sunday.
Local produce was in abundance for sale and there were plenty of outlets selling food & drink to suit everyone's taste. The Surrey Hills heritage sausage proved particularly popular, selling out fast on both days!
