On the evening of Monday 12th September, twenty Residents gathered together for a Tropical themed supper, an idea that was put forward by the late, Heinz Mayer, so the evening was dedicated to him. Some Residents dressed up for the occasion and the rum punch was particularly popular! There was a variety of delicious food, including chicken, pork & prawns, all suitably tropicalised and for dessert, baked pineapple with cherries (cooked with cinnamon & spices) & ice cream.
There was music, singing and dancing and Helen Hughes spoke on behalf of the Residents to say a big thankyou for the evening.
