On Thursday 3rd November the annual Shoebox Appeal during Activities, packed up a record 42 boxes with the aid of Residents and helpers. Huge thanks goes to all of those that contributed items. The generosity of Residents and their families allowed for the £3 per box that is suggested towards the transport costs for the Samaritan's Purse Charity.
This activity has grown so much over the years - we started in 1998 with one shoebox, so 42 in 2016 is a wonderful result.
