On Sunday 14th June, Birtley hosted the annual Rare Plant Fair within the grounds. It was a sunny, warm day and the 19 stalls looked very lush and colourful, set up on the lawn. Over 300 members of the public attended the Fair along with a number of Residents who came out to enjoy the large variety of plants on sale. There were Refreshments available all day and the burgers proved extremely popular! Within the Refreshments Tent, a Farm Shop was set up, selling local produce, including a number of home-grown items from the Birtley Gardens & Estate.
