In one of her last official duties as the Mayor of Waverley, Cllr Liz Wheatley, accompanied by her husband Mike, opened this annual exhibition on Friday 1st May.
This exhibition is the largest temporary sculpture exhibition in Surrey and attracts sculptors from across the UK. It offers the chance to enjoy sculpture displayed in a relaxed and informal setting, from both local up-and-coming sculptors to top names in the world of sculpture, including Mark Jackson, Ian Campbell-Briggs and Peter Newsome.
The exhibition runs until 31st May and is open daily 11am - 5pm.
An afternoon spent getting to know each other
With Halloween celebrations growing each year in the UK, our Birtley House activities team decided to really embrace it this year and make the most of our own home grown pumpkins.
Having made the decision that additional care is required and that a nursing home is the right solution, finding the right one can be a daunting process. To help ease this, Birtley House nursing home guildford have devised a check list of the initial, most important considerations for any individual or family.
