Artist Emma Allen has started painting the Birtley Cow - as part of the Surrey Hills CowParade exhibition.
Her imaginative design depicting the wealth of wildlife found on the Birtley Estate will evolve over the next couple of weeks. Residents and Staff are entering a competition to 'Name the Birtley CowParade Cow'. In addition, they are most welcome to see the painting in progress and chat to Emma while she works. The Cow will be auctioned for charity in the autumn, along with the other 61 cows which are already dotted around Surrey.
For further information on CowParade and for details in how to enter a competition to win a holiday for two in Mauritius please see: www.surreyhills.org/2016-is-the-year-of-cowparade-surrey-hills/
