Birtley have forged links with the Halow Project in Guildford and the kitchen garden has been converted into a community garden, where the young people can explore their interest in outdoor activity.
The Halow Project supports over 150 young people in Guildford with learning disabilities, helping them to have the same life choices and chances as any other young person and to live the life they choose, as independently as possible.
As the weather improves, we look forward to our Residents sharing their gardening (and cooking) knowledge with our many new friends from the Halow Project.
