On Monday 26th January, 31 Residents thoroughly enjoyed the Burns' Night afternoon, entering into the spirit of the occasion with great enthusiasm. The Selkirk Grace was recited by Resident, Andrew Jamieson, followed by the haggis being 'piped in', albeit with recorded music! Chef, Steve Morton, a true Scot, read Address to a Haggis, which was them sampled on oatcakes by almost everyone. The bottle of Famous Grouse proved extremely popular as well! Our thanks to Bob Sabel who gave a toast to the lassies and to Angela Weir who thanked Bob on behalf of the lassies! The celebration ended with everyone singing Auld Lang Syne.
