On Wednesday 26th November, around 150 MP's, Peers and parliamentary staff attended the Taste of Surrey Event at the Houses of Parliament, where they discovered what our County has to offer, from enjoying samples of delicious local produce, to learning about the spectacular countryside and many thriving visitor attractions. Birtley contributed honey and cider from the Estate for tasting, along with two jars of honey and a bottle of cider specifically for David Cameron himself!
The Event was the brainchild of MP for Guildford, Anne Milton and was organised by the Chair of Visit Surrey, Christine Howard, who works alongside Simon (Whalley) on a number of initiatives promoting Surrey.
