The Birtley Farm Shop will be opening this weekend (4th/5th July) from 11am-5pm on Saturday & Sunday and will then be open every forthcoming weekend until the end of September PLUS it will be open every day during August, selling produce from the Estate & local surrounding area. Tea/coffee & cakes or a glass of wine/beer & soft drinks will be on sale and served on the lawn. Also, there will be Birtley bacon baps & lamb burgers (from Coverwood Farm) available and picnic benches are arranged around the Estate to sit & eat in beautiful surroundings.
There is a Badger Trail, with information sheet, around the grounds which takes around half an hour and will keep the children occupied.
There is Free Parking, proceed up the driveway and turn left before the house.
