A very British BBQ! Rain (in fact an absolute deluge) didn't stop play at the Residents BBQ evening! With Kerry, Head of Kitchen, cooking under a large parasol, and the some 26 Residents plus carers snug and dry indoors, a wonderful time was had by all.
The kitchen team had helped to produce a feast of: Garlic prawns, Beer soaked sausages, Mini burgers, Chicken and peppers, Potato salad, Green salad, Boston beans, Mexican corn and Whisky pulled pork followed by Eton mess and Fruit salad. With Country music playing and Wine or Shandy to drink, it was a fun and memorable evening - despite the rain!
