Chinese New Year, the year of the Dog, was celebrated with the Residents at the end of February. Several Residents shared their experiences of having visited China in the past, and Mrs “Gee” Russell showed us the beautiful jacket that she was given whilst in Hong Kong. Everyone was interested to see the genuine Chinese tea set, along with many other items, e.g. Mahjong set, a Happy Coat, books and food. It was a very colourful and interesting afternoon.
