Christmas 2011 at Birtley

As in previous years, the traditional Christmas lunch was served by the Whalley family to our residents.

Additional tables spread from the Orangery into the Drawing Room to accommodate residents' family and friends who came to join in the festivities and to enjoy the delicious home-cooked feast. 

With a choice of champagne or sherry served before the lunch and presents under the tree for each resident, a joyful time was had by all.
