The Whalley Family

Birtley House Nursing Home is owned by a family company which was founded in 1932 by Dr. Lloyd Driver and his wife Joan. In the 1950's the management was passed to the Drivers' daughter, June, and her husband Dick Whalley.

The business is now owned by Simon Whalley, the oldest of June and Dick's four children, and is managed by Simon, his wife Caroline and their two sons, Frank and Tim.
